Dr Monika graduated from the University of Sydney in 2011 and has worked in small animal practice ever since. She has a particular interest in emergency surgery and internal medicine and enjoys the challenges and rewards that come with managing complex medical cases. She also has a special soft spot for caring for senior pets and helping them maintain a great quality of life in their golden years.

Monika is passionate about providing calm, compassionate and focused care. She believes that building trust and maintaining open communication with pet owners is essential, particularly during stressful or critical situations. Her approach is centred on providing individualised care, recognising that every pet and family has unique needs and circumstances.

At home, Monika and her husband share their lives with their much-loved cat, Miffy.

Outside of the clinic, Monika enjoys swimming, reformer Pilates, getting lost in a good crime novel, and spending time cooking and enjoying great food.
