Sarah – Head Nurse (Thornton)

Sarah joined the My Vets team in 2021, beginning her journey with us as a work-experience student. It didn’t take long for her passion, dedication, and natural nursing talent to shine through. She was welcomed into the team soon after and has continued to grow every day in her veterinary nursing career. In 2025, she proudly stepped into the role of Thornton Head Nurse.

Sarah has a deep love for all aspects of veterinary nursing. She thrives in surgical and hospital care, but she’s equally excited to be out the front greeting patients and giving them the attention (and pats!) they truly deserve.

At home, Sarah is kept busy by her senior Moodle, Benji, and her energetic cat Carlos—a special rescue she discovered in a drain right near the clinic. Outside of work she’s always on the go, but her favourite moments are the quiet ones: taking Benji for peaceful trips to the lake and spending quality time with her family.
